Sharing Photographic Experiences
I believe in making photos that make people feel good about the experience, and beautiful in the resulting photographs. I love translating those careful captures into the best representation of each person through attentive edits (i.e., I LOVE tasteful, realistic polishing made possible in Photoshop). For the people I photograph, my goal is to make portraits that showcase them and their personalities at their best. For actors, headshots are more than one black and white 8x10; the headshot collections we create together represent characters they love to play or dream of playing with a composite, Comp Card, that casting directors will notice. I approach each photo shoot with the intent to curate and refine the best images into my version of fine art.
I have a hunger and curiosity that makes me revel in new experiences. I get jazzed seeing, participating in, and as a photographer, capturing experiences to recall again and again. Whether my subject is a person or a building, I love showcasing each subject's unique qualities, capturing the details in their personality as if it is fine handiwork, and then revealing each individual's character and spark, especially in a print framed and mounted on a wall.
I'm always looking for experiences to capture with my camera that thrill my eye and fill my heart. I'm looking for cool gigs with interesting people. I'm looking to make photos from those experiences that capture the essence of a place, a structure, or a person at just the right moment.
